Hello, I’m Lisa.
Welcome to my little world of stories.
A retired teacher, a lover of words and books, and the author behind The Binkyhop Bunnies.
I’m so excited to be fulfilling my dream of becoming a children’s author. After a career as a teacher and school leader, I’m sharing my love of stories through a family of little bunnies with adventures of their own.

A very special beginning
It started with a granddaughter…
and some knitted bunnies.
The Binkyhop Bunnies began life as knitted toys I made for my first granddaughter. My husband, Jon, suggested that I write some stories about them — and that’s exactly what I did!
Those little toys became the inspiration for the Binkyhop Bunny babies and their adventures. I’m still writing their stories, and I hope they bring as much enjoyment to parents and grandparents as they do to children.
